Not Myself Today

Not Myself Today asks visitors to select a button that describes how they feel. The piece encourages visitors to share the feelings which may normally be suppressed, particularly on the days when we do not feel like ourselves.

The installation is part of a global campaign to help reduce stigma and support mental health. The goal is to connect people to mental health and build empathy and understanding toward those living with mental illnesses.

Not Myself Today was created by the Partners for Mental Health and is now managed by the Canadian Mental Health Association. Through a presence in more than 330 communities across every province, CMHA is a voluntary organization which provides advocacy and resources that help to prevent mental health problems and support recovery.
