Intersection is a responsive sound installation controlled by an audience. Visitors enter a darkened space in which the sound of car traffic randomly moves across the space. Visitors can stop the traffic within a lane by standing in front of an approaching car, causing it to screech to a stop, and later followed by subsequent cars in the lane smashing into the back of stopped car.  A stopped car will accelerate and continue moving across the space only after a visitor moves out of its lane. reech to a halt, or collide with one another.
